An AI visibility audit is worth it when three things are true: you sell services or B2B where one client is worth real money, your customers already ask AI tools for recommendations, and you have the capacity to act on what you learn. It is not worth it, yet, when your website has nothing an AI could cite or your demand is purely offline. This is the short, honest version. Below is the long one, including the cases where we tell people not to buy.
Is an AI visibility audit worth it?
For most service and B2B businesses whose customers ask AI for recommendations, yes, because recovering a single lost client usually pays for the audit many times over. It is not worth it if you have no real website, if your demand comes entirely from foot traffic or referrals, or if you have no time to act on the findings. The math and the judgment matter more than the price.
The price is small enough that the decision is rarely about the money. Our Report is PLN 499 net, roughly $125. The real question is whether AI visibility is worth anything to you at all. For some businesses it is worth a great deal. For others, honestly, it is not worth thinking about this year. Let us take both sides in turn.
When an AI visibility audit is worth it
It pays off fastest when the value of one client is high and AI is already part of how buyers find you. Three signals, together, mean you should probably do it.
One recovered client covers it many times over. Do the arithmetic on your own numbers. If you sell a service worth a few thousand per client, and AI invisibility is quietly costing you even one client a month, the audit’s PLN 499 is recovered on the first recovered lead, and everything after is upside. In our pilot for a dental practice, the AI tools described the business flawlessly by name but skipped it in 8 of 10 no-name questions like “recommend a good clinic near me,” while naming competitors. One implant patient is worth multiples of the audit. That asymmetry is the entire case.
You sell B2B or considered services. The higher the ticket and the longer the decision, the more a buyer researches, and research now runs through AI as often as Google. Consultants, agencies, clinics, law and accounting firms, B2B software, trades with real project values: these are exactly the businesses an AI is asked to shortlist. If a wrong or absent answer removes you from that shortlist before a human ever sees you, you never even learn you lost.
Your customers already ask AI about your industry. This is not hypothetical anymore. If you have heard a client say “I asked ChatGPT and it suggested…,” the shift has already reached your market. An audit tells you whether you are in those answers or watching competitors take the introductions. If you are unsure why capable businesses get skipped, why ChatGPT doesn’t recommend your business explains the mechanism.
When those three line up, the audit is less a cost than a cheap way to stop an expensive, invisible leak.
When an AI visibility audit is not worth it, yet
We would rather lose the sale than sell you work you do not need. Here is when we tell people to wait.
You have no website worth citing. An audit measures how AI reads and repeats your site. If your site is a one-page placeholder, a link tree, or a login with nothing public, there is almost nothing for an AI to quote, and the audit will mostly tell you to go build a real site first. Spend the money on the website. Come back when there is something to measure.
Your demand is purely offline. If customers find you by walking past, by a sign, by word of mouth in a tight local circle, and they do not research your category online, AI visibility is not where your next client is hiding. A busy corner bakery living on foot traffic does not need this. Be honest about where your actual demand comes from before spending a złoty on optimizing a channel you do not use.
You have no capacity to act. An audit is a map, not a driver. If no one on your side, not you, not a webmaster, not us, will make the changes it recommends in the next few months, you will have bought a PDF you never open. Buy it when you are ready to move on it, not before.
You are pre-product or pre-revenue. If you are still figuring out the offer itself, put the money there. AI visibility optimizes demand for something people already want. It cannot manufacture the want.
None of these are permanent. Most businesses that are “not yet” become “yes” once the site exists and buyers start asking AI. The point is to spend when the audit can actually change an outcome.
How to decide in five minutes
Before you buy anything, run this quick self-test. It costs nothing and it settles most of the question.
- Ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude a “no-name” question your customer would ask (“recommend a good [your service] in [your city]”). Are you named? Are competitors?
- Estimate the value of one client. Multiply by a realistic number of clients you might lose a year to invisibility. Is that number many times the price of an audit, or a rounding error?
- Be honest about your demand: does anyone actually research your category through AI or search, or is it all offline?
- Ask whether you will act on findings in the next 90 days.
If the AI skips you, one client is worth real money, buyers research online, and you can act, the audit is worth it. If two or more of those are “no,” wait, and fix the underlying thing first. For a fuller do-it-yourself pass, work through our DIY AI SEO audit checklist; to understand how this differs from classic search, see AI visibility vs SEO.
When you are ready, the AI visibility audit gives you the full picture across four AI tools with at least 5 concrete fixes, or your money back. If you want the number first, we publish it in how much an AI visibility audit costs. And if you would rather talk it through, book a free 20-minute consultation and we will tell you honestly whether it makes sense for you, even if the answer is no. We built the whole offer to make that “no” easy to say.
FAQ
How do I know if the audit will pay for itself? Estimate the value of one client and how many you might be losing to AI invisibility each year. If that figure dwarfs the PLN 499 price, and it usually does for service and B2B businesses, the audit pays for itself the moment it helps you recover a single lead. If one client is worth very little to you, the case is weaker and worth thinking twice about.
Isn’t it too early to worry about AI visibility? It depends on your customers, not the calendar. If buyers in your market already ask AI for recommendations, and many now do, then being absent from those answers is a present cost, not a future one. If your customers genuinely do not use AI to find your category, then yes, it is early for you, and we will say so.
What if I already do SEO? Do I still need this? Possibly, because they measure different things. SEO decides whether you rank in Google’s list of links. AI visibility decides whether AI tools name you inside their generated answers, which depends on partly different signals. Strong SEO helps, but it does not guarantee you appear in AI recommendations. An audit shows the gap between the two.
What happens if the audit finds nothing worth fixing? You get your money back. If the report does not surface at least 5 things to fix, each with instructions, you request a full refund within 7 days and receive 100%. With 39 criteria checked across six areas, that outcome is rare, but if your site is already AI-ready, you learn that at no cost, which is a worthwhile answer in itself.
